If you are a Burner ready to enjoy comfort beyond the the tent phase, this is the perfect RV for you! The interior stays comfortable, cool, and dark. You can sleep away all the hot daytime hours in your owned little insulated and darkened space. You can cook on a real stove, store your food in an actual refrigerator, bring some ice cream along for a mid week treat! Use the potty in the middle of the night with out having to walk several blocks. Take a shower or two during the week. Go explore BRC all you want and still have a little comfort zone of your own to retreat to. Or bring the party inside with you!
This RV has been perfectly adapted and “teched" out for comfortable, worry-free, weeks on end at Black Rock Desert. The solar panels on the roof allow us to have power for all our needs without annoying our neighbors with inconvenient bursts of noise and fumes from a generator. There is a generator on board incase of emergencies, like if the Sun were to stop shining on the Playa. The specially installed swamp cooler keeps the RV interior very chill. There is an A/C on board that can be used when you go places that have plug ins. On Playa the swamp cooler is more efficient and can be run from the onboard batteries charged by the Solar Panels. The swamp cooler uses water which can come from melted ice in your coolers. There is a filtering pump system that makes cooler water perfectly usable in the swamp cooler. The swamp cooler adds just enough moisture to the air to make your parched nostrils and skin feel better. Getting more techie, the swamp cooler pressurizes the inside of the RV which discourages dust from blowing inside through the door or windows. When we are on Playa, two or us, we have gone up to two weeks without needing to pump our tanks or refill our water. Of course we are ultra conservative with water, use the portapotties during the day and minimize usage of water. All the lights in the RV are LED which makes it easy to run with the Solar panels. The windows are are all fitted with custom cut foam insulation panels that keep the interior dark and cool. The window panels can be removed to let in light or left on for sleeping in the dark.
